Where stone whispers and time stands still

An elegantly restored traditional cottage on an island where three seas meet — the Aegean, the Ionian, and the Sea of Crete.

A home shaped by centuries

Nestled in the quiet village of Logothetianika, Anogi has been carefully restored to honour both its historical significance and the surrounding natural environment.

Original stone walls meet hand-finished plaster. Exposed timber beams crown every room. A traditional stone fireplace anchors the living space, while modern comforts — air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor shower — ensure your stay is as effortless as it is atmospheric.

Every detail has been considered: from the hand-carved marble basin in the bathroom to the antique writing desk overlooking the bedroom, the cottage weaves together the island's past with a refined, contemporary sensibility.

Getting Here

Kythira has a small airport (KIT) with seasonal flights from Athens. The island is also reachable by ferry from Piraeus, Neapoli, Gytheio and Crete.

A rental car is recommended to explore the island's hidden beaches, hilltop villages, and Byzantine churches.

Kythira — island of the three seas

Suspended between the Peloponnese and Crete, Kythira sits at the meeting point of three seas, The Aegean to the east, The Ionian to the west and The Sea of Crete to the south. Known in mythology as the birthplace of Aphrodite, the island remains one of Greece's best-kept secrets — unspoiled by mass tourism, rich with wildflowers, hidden coves, and centuries-old villages.

Wander through the Venetian fortress of Chora, swim at the turquoise waterfall of Fonissa, or simply lose yourself on an empty beach. Kythira rewards those who seek something slower, deeper, and more authentic.
